We never made a plum chutney ourselves but I would imagine they go great with vinegar, onions, brown sugar and maybe a dash of cinnamon and/or ginger. We (again in Bavaria) have a garden too with fruit trees and vegetables. The blog and also the anecdotes and images are very motivating to spend some more time in the garden or in the kitchen. So I’m looking forward to every update! This year we still have a very rich plum harvest and so I also made a plum cake last weekend with Jamie’s short pastry recipe.
